Stock Condition Surveys

These are volume inspections of homes in the social housing sector. These surveys are carried out for a wide variety of reasons, principally over the last 15 years for LSVT (Large Scale Voluntary Transfer). The transfers have now mostly been completed but because of the narrow focus of this type of survey, the data was usually not sufficient for detailed housing management and maintenance purposes.

All current stock condition surveys have the same objective to establish the future financial liabilities of the housing assets whilst having the flexibility to offer key information on the following:

Energy Efficiency Surveys.
Housing Health and Safety Rating System Surveys
Decent Homes Surveys

Pre Contract Surveys

Specific tailored surveys to collect data required to target contract works necessary to achieve Decent Homes standard.

Stock Condition Validations

Carry out independent assessment of surveys undertaken by other organisations to ensure the methodology and data provided is sufficiently robust to satisfy government criteria and financial lending criteria.

Asbestos Surveys

Owners or occupiers of business premises with a responsibility for repair are probably also liable for identifying and managing any asbestos within the property.

There is a legal duty to locate asbestos-containing materials and manage any associated risks to occupants and visitors, which is where our specialist asbestos surveyors, trained to the Health and Safety Executive approved standard, can help.

T&T undertake Type 1 (Presumptive) asbestos Surveys in accordance with HSE Guidance Notes and assist in establishing a forward management plan. Our independent and impartial advice offers practical asbestos solutions that are cost effective and safe.
